Myles Quinn is a multidisciplinary artist based in Dublin, Ireland. Exploring the confines of traditional photography, Quinn employs experimental photography techniques, such as sculpture, technology and a myriad of printing methods to create work that often leads to unknown outcomes.

Born in the West of Ireland, Quinn draws inspiration from the Catholic narratives and aesthetics of his youth, combined with Pre-Christian Celtic and European folklore. Quinn’s practice is influenced by a post-colonial quest for identity, examining language, religion and place as integral components of his work.

Driven by a deep-seated interest in everyday life, Quinn explores the minutiae and mundane, seeking to uncover meaning and understanding within the ordinary. Quinn brings attention to the overlooked aspects of existence, urging audiences to pause, reflect and engage more deeply with their surroundings.

Quinn's practice delves into the ineffable aspects of the human experience, tackling themes such as memory, loss, forgiveness, redemption and interpersonal boundaries. Exploring emotions, thoughts and experiences often left unspoken or unacknowledged.
